PICTURE PERFECT 2008 OC FAIR SETS SECOND HIGHEST ATTENDANCE RECORD
The 2008 OC Fair ended on a picture perfect note as 1,062,673 guests visited the annual Fair, setting the second highest attendance record in the Fair’s 116 years. The attendance record of 1,090,653 was set in 2007.

CENTENNIAL FARM NOW ACCEPTING TOUR APPLICATIONS FOR 2008/2009 SCHOOL YEAR
Centennial Farm at the OC Fair & Event Center (OCFEC) is now accepting applications for the 2008/2009 school year for free guided tours and self-guided days. Educators are encouraged to apply early as space is limited and available dates fill up quickly. Guided tours are intended for kindergarten through third grade groups and self-guided days are reserved for pre-school and specialty groups.

COSTA MESA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM RANCH AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Seventy fourth, fifth and sixth grade students from College Park Elementary School, Sonora Elementary School and Davis Education Center in Costa Mesa will graduate from the OC Fair & Event Center’s (OCFEC) Ranch After-School Program on Friday, May 2 at 5 p.m.

OCFEC APPOINTS ROBIN WACHNER TO COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
The OC Fair & Event Center (OCFEC) has announced the appointment of Robin Wachner to Communications Director. As the new lead of the communications department, Wachner will oversee the organization’s media relations efforts, publications, websites, and employee communications.

COWABUNGA! 2007 OC FAIR CORRALS RECORD ATTENDANCE
The tide of fun was high as more than one million visitors joined the stampede to the annual OC Fair, setting an attendance record of 1,090,653. The previous record of 1,058,192 was set in 2005.
