WHAT: End-of-season celebration for the students from the OC Fair & Event Center’s Ranch After-School Program for achievements in their educational agriculture program. Media are welcome to attend for interviews and photo opps.

DETAILS: Local students will be awarded for their accomplishments in the OCFEC Ranch After-School Program. During the program, students participate in activities specializing in livestock, gardening and leather crafting. In each unit, students learn how to care for farm animals, how to maintain their own garden plot and construct their own leather craft, including bracelets and belts.
 
The awards celebration will feature presentations, a slide show and a viewing of the children’s projects. Parents, teachers and friends are invited and will have the opportunity to meet the Ranch staff and volunteers. The awards is by invitation only.
