PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE A DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
The 32nd District Agricultural Association (DAA) is amending the Orange County Fair and Event Center (OCFEC) Master Plan for the ±150-acre (ac) campus. The OCFEC Board adopted the Master Plan in August 2003 which will offer the community a broader range of educational, recreational, and cultural programming and entertainment aimed at showcasing the heritage of Orange County and providing additional opportunities to its growing and evolving constituency. The Master Plan called for the Equestrian Center (EQC) to be reduced from approximately 15 ac to its current size of 7.5 ac. Portions of the Master Plan have been implemented over the past several years, including the EQC reduction. |
