The application period to be considered to participate in the
2009 OC Fair is September 15, 2008 to January 15, 2009.
The current dates of the 2009 OC FAIR are July 10 - August 2, 2009,
closed on Mondays. The OC Fair is currently considering a change to these dates to
potentially a 5 weekend model. More information is available

The OC Fair & Event Center Board of Directors is scheduled to
consider the change of dates at their next scheduled Board meeting
on September 25, 2008 starting at 10am.
Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2009 OC Fair. As we
prepare to present the 118th year of the OC Fair, we are always looking for the “best
of the best” vendors in the industry.
Starting this year, a new on-line application for commercial and
concession vendors has been developed. This new on-line application process is a start in
creating an automated system to more effectively and efficiently conduct business
between the OC Fair & Event Center and our vendors. As
we invest in the latest technologies to develop new systems it is
necessary to off-set these costs with a non-refundable application
fee.
The non-refundable application fee is $50.00. Applications are not
offers or a guarantee of space. It is simply an application
to be considered as a vendor.
Following the completion of your application, the review process
takes considerable time, so we appreciate the patience of all applicants.
You will be contacted by email when decisions are made. Please do not call to check on the status
of your application or whether it arrived. A receipt will be
emailed to the applicant confirming the receipt of your application.
Below is additional important information about the application process:
- Participants from the previous Fair are evaluated and may be
offered space in next year’s fair before choosing from
new applications.
- Applications & products are juried on their own merit,
not on a first come, first served basis.
- New applicants must submit photos or brochures of booth and
products. Product selection is at the sole discretion of fair
management.
- Returning applicants need not submit photos or brochures unless
there have been significant changes in booth/stand layout or
a request for new/additional products.
- Photos, samples, artist renderings or promotional materials
will not be returned.
- All food concession stands are required to submit menus & pricing
with their application for approval.
Selection Process: Applications are reviewed and selected
based on the following:
- Space availability
- Value to fair guests
- Product balance within the fair
- Uniqueness and appeal of product
- Appearance of display/booth
- Prior experience
- Evaluation scores (returning applicants only
2009 OC Fair vendor fees and guidelines plan to be posted on the
OC Fair website starting in November.
